IT ALL STARTED IN A STUDENT KITCHEN IN 2008...

The very first iPhone had just launched and two recent graduates in Leeds had an idea: Teach students how to cook by creating simple recipe videos you could access on your phone.

The videos took the quality of TV production but put it online, allowing students to watch the 'how to' videos wherever and whenever they wanted.

It was cooking by students for students, knowing the limitations of a student kitchen, budget and attention span and creating content that was informative, engaging and just a little bit different

The student kitchen became a studio, the living room a production office, the bedroom an editing suite and the website studentcooking.tv was born. Soon they were visiting campuses and filming with students all over the UK, filling the site with content that showed students how to live a healthier life.

Over a decade later and our ethos has stayed the same: we communicate and engage with students by working directly with them.

We still visit them in their accommodation, spend time with them on campus and continue creating content that engages, communicates and makes life at university the best it can be.
